Samantha Owens-Ghaney began playing piano when she was 10, but has loved music since she was a baby. “It's been a lifelong dream of mine to share my talent with children and adults."

Samantha, who was raised in Newfoundland, earned her first piano scholarship when she was 11. She put the money to good use investing in her musical future.  She learned to play a number of instruments, including violin, cello and clarinet, but her passion for piano overshadowed the rest. Her musical journey allowed her the opportunity to travel across Canada playing with the Newfoundland Symphony Youth Orchestra and even had the opportunity to attend the Banff School of Music in Alberta. 

She has both patience and strict discipline with young beginners and has demonstrated significant results in both examinations and competitions.

In her spare time, Samantha loves spending time with her 5 grandchildren.
